Remodeling your Supply Chain: Buying from China

Although China has recovered quickly from the pandemic, buyers are still hard hit by rising logistics costs, material shortages and some of the toughest travel restrictions in the world.

In addition, new initiatives such as China’s Corporate Social Credit System, have made compliance an important part of every supply chain. How are all these developments affecting your procurement in China? In this event I will take a closer look at these challenges and the resulting opportunities.

This session not only contains an introduction to optimization possibilities in your procurement, but also shows which new challenges companies should pay particular attention to when purchasing in China. In addition, I will present effective software solutions for managing operational and regulatory risks, with the focus on digitizing your Chinese supply chain.

What you’ll learn:
1. Overview of Supply Chain Disruptions
2. Impact of the Corporate Social Credit System
3. Analyzing and Adapting your Supply Chain
4. Sustainability and Digitization
